Pavement Licence Consultation Ends 11th Feb

One positives to arise during the pandemic was the willingness of government to look at the level of red tape around certain applications ,particularly pavement licences and how they were processed in different ways by different councils .This manifested itself in The Business and Planning Act 2020,however this piece of legislation has a sunset clause of September 2022.

As part of the Build Back Better High Streets Strategy the government is consulting on a permeant adoption of some of the provisions -time is now limited to respond- complete the following form by close the 11^th February
